Why does your new screen have bars going down your screen?

The picture on the top is iPhone 5C LCD have bars going down your screen.
This usually means that your LCD cable is not plugged in correctly. At this point you should unplug your new screen from your main board, check both of the connectors plugs, and make sure that none of the pins are bent or missing from either connectors. If the pins are damaged, plugging in your new screen again will not solve the problem. You can try to bend the pins back into place then try connecting your device to the screen. Once the pins are straight, and the screen is plugged in again, you can try powering on your device without closing it up because you might have to try and connect it a few times and also this way will allow you to check your repair without the need to remove every screw all over again.
If your device is not showing any thing or showing a blank screen, but you can see light coming from the back of the screen try doing the following steps:
Unplug your screen
Unplug your battery
Plug your battery back in
Plug your screen back in
Turn your device on using the power button.
If nothing appears and you have a battery that is dead or dying. This could mean that your battery is not sending a strong enough charge to your phone to allow the screen to make an image appear. If that’s the case you need to buy a new battery for you phone. If you get an image of the start up icon on your phone then you are ready to go. Put everything back together and enjoy your new screen.
